Internship Overview

Amazon is looking for a passionate, proactive, and highly motivated IT Recruiter Intern to join our remote recruitment team. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand IT hiring needs and role requirements
  • Post IT job openings on relevant job portals and professional platforms
  • Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on skills and job fit
  • Conduct initial telephonic or virtual interviews
  • Evaluate candidates’ technical knowledge, experience, and cultural fit
  • Build and maintain a strong database of IT professionals
  • Support end-to-end recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and feedback coordination
  • Assist in employer branding initiatives to strengthen Amazon’s hiring presence
  • Stay updated on the latest recruitment trends and IT industry practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
    • Human Resources
    • Business Administration
    • Management
    • Or a related field
  • Strong interest in IT recruitment and talent acquisition
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and coordination abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with ATS tools and recruitment software (preferred, not mandatory)

Experience

  • No prior experience required
  • Previous HR or recruitment internship experience is an added advantage

  • Basic understanding of IT roles and technologies (software development, programming languages, cloud, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and candidate evaluation skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
