Salary: From $60,000/year

Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift

Job Summary

Laguna Tools is seeking a skilled and motivated WordPress Web Developer to join our team in Grand Prairie, TX. This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing our company website, enhancing usability, performance, and the overall user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to strategic web projects that drive lead generation and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain company websites using WordPress, including custom themes, plugins, and features.
  • Integrate HubSpot for lead forms, offer downloads, and other marketing CTAs.
  • Ensure data flows seamlessly between HubSpot and Oracle NetSuite, including configuration and customization.
  • Optimize website performance for speed, responsiveness, and SEO.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance of the website.
  • Implement UX/UI improvements to enhance user engagement.
  • Stay current with emerging web development trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in WordPress development and best practices.
  • Experience integrating HubSpot and Oracle NetSuite.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and on-page optimization techniques.
  • Experience with programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, Ruby, Swift.
  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality.
  • Ability to design and improve UX/UI using wireframes, user research, and testing.

Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite for communication and collaboration.
  • Experience with Monday.com for project management.
  • Strong ownership mentality and ability to report progress and results effectively.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and hand/arm usage required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
