Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated WordPress Developer with foundational experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to join our growing development team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites while collaborating with senior developers and project managers to deliver high-quality web solutions for clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with 6 months to 1 year of experience who want to grow their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of WordPress websites, including custom themes and plugins.
  • Collaborate with senior developers to integrate front-end and back-end components.
  • Participate in project planning, brainstorming, and technical discussions.
  • Maintain and optimize existing WordPress websites for performance and usability.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Support website migration, deployment, and updates.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients and internal teams when needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of WordPress CMS, themes, plugins, and core functionality.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience through internships, coursework, or personal projects.
  • Familiarity with website deployment and hosting environments.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.

Education & Experience

  • Experience: 6 months – 1 year in WordPress or web development.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
