💼 Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer (1–4 years experience) who can handle both back-end and front-end development, including building and maintaining WordPress plugins and themes from scratch.

This role involves working closely with clients (primarily US/UK), ensuring clean, scalable, and well-documented code.

🚀 Key Responsibilities

🔧 Development

  • Design and implement new features for WordPress-based products
  • Build custom plugins using hooks and filters
  • Develop and maintain custom themes
  • Work with REST APIs and third-party integrations

🗄 Backend & Database

  • Develop scalable applications using PHP & MySQL
  • Optimize database queries (wp_query, meta_query)
  • Ensure performance and security best practices

🧪 Testing & Debugging

  • Create and execute test cases
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently
  • Maintain high code quality standards

📘 Documentation & Communication

  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Manage tasks and timelines effectively
  • Communicate with international clients professionally

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 1–4 years of experience as a WordPress Developer
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Custom plugin development (hooks & filters)
    • Theme development from scratch
    • PHP & MySQL
    • Git / GitHub
  • Experience with:
    • wp_query, meta_query
    • WP-CLI
    • Debugging & troubleshooting
    • RESTful APIs
  • Familiarity with:
    • Elementor & Gutenberg
    • Localization (i18n)
    • WooCommerce
    • LearnDash
  • Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team

🌱 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with US/UK clients
  • Prior experience in SaaS product development
  • Strong understanding of coding standards and architecture patterns
