Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Designer / Developer to manage development, customization, and maintenance activities for our portfolio of WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in custom theme and plugin development, performance optimization, and WordPress architecture.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Convert websites from other platforms to WordPress
  • Integrate and configure plugins such as:
    • WooCommerce
    • WPML
    • Membership plugins
  • Optimize website speed and performance
  • Apply SEO best practices
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Work with version control tools (Git / SVN)
  • Integrate payment gateways
  • Create and manage high-quality WordPress content
  • Design and implement backend systems integrating databases and servers

Technical Requirements

  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture
  • Proficiency in custom theme and plugin development
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, AJAX
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Experience in database and code optimization for WordPress
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles
  • Awareness of W3C Web Standards, Semantics & Accessibility Guidelines
  • In-depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
  • Experience integrating payment gateways
  • Experience with Git / SVN
