🔹 Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Designer & Developer to manage, maintain, and enhance our portfolio of WordPress websites. This role involves custom development, plugin integration, optimization, and ensuring high-quality, responsive, and SEO-friendly websites.

🔹 Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins
  • Convert websites from other platforms to WordPress
  • Integrate and configure plugins (e.g., WPML, WooCommerce, Membership plugins)
  • Improve page loading speeds and overall website performance
  • Apply SEO best practices during development
  • Use version control tools like Git / SVN for code management
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Create and maintain high-quality WordPress content
  • Integrate payment gateways where required
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive web design
  • Design and implement back-end functionality connecting databases and servers

🔹 Requirements

  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture and platform
  • Expertise in custom theme and plugin development
  • Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of database and code optimization techniques
  • Experience with React/AngularJS is preferred
  • Awareness of W3C standards, web semantics, and accessibility guidelines
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and data formats like JSON and XML
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
