About the Role

WGA Transit is hiring DOT Drivers to support Amazon Delivery Service Partners (DSPs). As a DOT Driver, you will play a key role in delivering critical packages to customers across Manhattan, working closely with a team of Delivery Associates. No prior delivery experience is required – we provide training and opportunities for professional growth.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy independence, working with a team, and making a difference in their community every day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Load and transport delivery packages in an Amazon-branded 20ft box truck from the Staten Island Delivery Station to designated locations in Manhattan.
  • Coordinate with Delivery Associates to distribute packages for final delivery to customers’ doorsteps.
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of hundreds of packages daily, ranging from household goods to critical supplies.
  • Maintain communication with team members to optimize delivery operations.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Valid State Driver’s License required.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Consent to a pre-employment drug test, background check, and motor vehicle check.

  • Work schedule: Typically 3-4 days per week, 10-12 hours per day.
