Job Description

Netflix is seeking talented Remote Golang Developers to join its distributed engineering team. As a Golang Developer, you will build scalable backend services, optimize APIs, and work on high-performance applications that support millions of users worldwide. This is a remote full-time role where you’ll collaborate with global teams on innovative projects.

Compensation: Netflix offers a competitive hourly rate of $15 – $20, based on experience and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop backend services and microservices using Go (Golang)

Optimize APIs and server-side applications for performance and scalability

Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams in an agile environment

Implement secure coding practices and maintain data integrity

Debug, test, and deploy production-ready code

️ Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Golang and backend development

Knowledge of RESTful APIs, gRPC, and microservices architecture

Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Database experience: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

Understanding of cloud-native applications and distributed systems

Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills

Experience

2–4 years of professional backend development experience (Golang preferred)

Prior remote work experience is a plus
