🔹 Role Overview

As a Website Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and implementing web applications while collaborating closely with business analysts and project managers. You will play a key role in determining the technical approach for projects and ensuring deliverables meet both functional and technical specifications.

This role involves participation in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), from design and development to testing and deployment, following best practices and methodologies for software development.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the technical approach for project implementation.
  • Understand the product thoroughly from both functional and technical perspectives.
  • Design and develop product deliverables according to specifications.
  • Escalate technical design or specification issues to the project manager or development director.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand change implications to business processes.
  • Follow good development practices and SDLC methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of applications.

🔹 Functional / Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology and the Microsoft Visual Studio development system.
  • Understanding of hardware sizing, network architecture, and operating systems.
  • Experience with server technologies: Microsoft SQL Server Database, Reporting Services, Analysis Services.
  • Familiarity with N-tier architecture and web servers.
  • Knowledge of Internet technologies: Microsoft IIS, Microsoft BizTalk Server, firewalls.
  • Ability to work within project timelines while maintaining code quality.
