Role Overview

As a Website Developer, you will be a primary resource for implementing and developing web applications. You will work closely with business analysts and project managers to ensure that development aligns with both functional and technical requirements. The role involves designing, coding, and delivering product features while adhering to software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine the technical approach for project implementation
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the product functionality and technical architecture
  • Apply implementation methodologies for technologies like .NET or Java frameworks
  • Collaborate with business analysts to understand change implications on business processes
  • Design and build product deliverables according to project specifications
  • Escalate technical design or specification issues to project manager or development lead
  • Complete coding tasks within the project timeline
  • Follow good development practices throughout the software development lifecycle

Functional / Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft .NET technology and Microsoft Visual Studio development system
  • Familiarity with hardware sizing, architecture, network, and operating systems
  • Experience with server technologies: Microsoft SQL Server Database, Reporting Services, Analysis Services, N-tier architecture, Web Servers
  • Knowledge of Internet technologies: Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), Microsoft BizTalk Server, firewalls
  • Understanding of full-stack web application development principles and best practices
