🌟 About the Role

Appclick is looking for a dedicated WordPress/PHP Web Developer to join our fully remote team. You will be responsible for building custom WordPress sites, troubleshooting, maintaining existing projects, and collaborating with partners and agencies. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in WordPress theme development, PHP, and an eye for detail.

🔑 Responsibilities

• Build custom WordPress websites hosted on platforms like WPEngine
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to WordPress Theme Development Standards
• Migrate partner sites to suitable hosting platforms
• Develop WordPress themes from scratch using Underscore, boilerplate, or starter frameworks
• Troubleshoot and maintain previously-launched partner sites, adding new features as needed
• Collaborate with agencies, contractors, and internal teams on projects
• Participate in partner calls and provide excellent customer support
• Work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Understand Open Source licensing and its applications

✅ Required Skills

• WordPress theme development from scratch
• Familiarity with Underscore/Boilerplate framework
• PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript knowledge
• Strong troubleshooting and bug-fixing skills
• Effective communication and teamwork using Slack, Asana, Zoom, etc.
• Ability to work under tight timelines while maintaining high-quality standards
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

🌟 Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Thrive or Elementor
• Hands-on with ActiveCampaign or Aweber
• Familiarity with LearnDash
• Ability to work under pressure and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
