About the Role

Appclick is seeking a motivated Web Developer specializing in WordPress and PHP to join our fully remote team. You will work on building custom WordPress sites, maintaining existing projects, and collaborating with agencies and contractors to deliver high-quality web solutions.

This role is perfect for a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build custom WordPress sites hosted on platforms like WPEngine
  • Perform code reviews and troubleshoot existing WordPress sites
  • Migrate partner sites to the most suitable hosting platform
  • Write WordPress themes from scratch, adhering to WordPress Theme Development Standards
  • Work with Underscore or boilerplate frameworks
  • Collaborate with agencies, contractors, and partners via Slack, Asana, Zoom
  • Join client calls and communicate technical updates effectively
  • Maintain and add features to previously-launched sites
  • Ensure attention to detail, quality, and timely delivery
  • Understand Open Source licenses and best practices

Good to Have

  • Experience with Thrive or Elementor
  • Hands-on experience with ActiveCampaign, Aweber
  • Worked with LearnDash LMS
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines
