About the Role

Digivero is looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with strong UI/UX design skills to create attractive, functional, and optimized websites for clients. This role involves both front-end and back-end development, including WordPress theme/plugin implementation, e-commerce website creation, technical SEO, and ongoing site maintenance.

Candidates must be Mumbai-based and able to work in a hybrid model, with their own device and internet connection for remote work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet clients to gather website design and functional requirements.
  • Design and build responsive, visually appealing front-end interfaces.
  • Create website architecture and manage back-end integration (database/server).
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Build and manage e-commerce websites (Shopify, Wix).
  • Conduct website performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
  • Provide WordPress training and guidance to clients.
  • Monitor live website performance and implement updates/security patches.
  • Maintain strong focus on technical SEO for improved site visibility.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience as a WordPress developer, including e-commerce websites.
  • Strong knowledge of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React, Node.js.
  • UI/UX design expertise.
  • Experience with code versioning tools and debugging practices.
  • Understanding of website architecture, aesthetics, and usability.
  • Ability to manage projects and communicate effectively.
