Job Summary

Aerialair is looking for a Web Developer Intern for Summer 2025 to work on a range of WordPress projects. This internship provides practical experience in web development, theme customization, plugin implementation, and integration with APIs.

The role is fully remote, ideal for candidates looking to gain experience in modern web technologies while contributing to real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work on various WordPress projects including theme customization and plugin integration
  • Implement and customize WordPress plugins like Contact Form 7, Elementor, WP Bakery, DIVI, Date Reservation, etc.
  • Debug, analyze, and test WordPress implementations to ensure functionality and performance
  • Web development using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Core PHP, WordPress, API integration, MySQL
  • Collaborate with team members to develop robust and scalable solutions
  • Ensure adherence to web standards and best practices

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and web standards
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in PHP, MySQL, and WordPress CMS
  • Familiarity with other CMS platforms (e.g., OpenCart, CodeIgniter, Magento) is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and innovation skills
  • Good communication skills, including listening and understanding project requirements
  • Knowledge of RESTful Web Services technologies like JSON, SOAP, and HTTP
