Role Overview

  • Position: Web Developer (Remote)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Location: Initially India (remote), possible relocation to Dubai/Oman after ~12 months
  • Experience: 2+ years full-stack development experience

The Web Developer will build and maintain enterprise web applications, support automation, integrate mobile frameworks, and collaborate closely with operations teams to optimize logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services aligned with business goals
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure design consistency and best practices
  • Document product and project specifications
  • Stay updated on emerging web technologies and best practices
  • Work with yard, logistics, and accounts teams to implement operational solutions
  • Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution independently

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Full-stack development: React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP
  • Database & Version Control: MySQL/PostgreSQL, Git, SVN
  • Web servers: Apache, Nginx
  • CI/CD & Cloud services: AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and UI/UX principles
  • Problem-solving skills for operational and logistics environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Familiarity with OCR frameworks and automated testing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of logistics workflows (e.g., container gate-in/out, billing, job orders)
  • Communication in Hindi and/or Arabic for regional collaboration
  • Willingness to travel for depot system rollouts and onsite implementations
  • Adaptability to Middle East work culture and remote collaboration

Work Conditions

  • Full-time offshore role initially in India
  • Relocation to Dubai/Oman possible after successful probation (~12 months)
  • Interaction with onsite depot, logistics, and accounts teams for system rollouts
