About the Role

Do you enjoy coding and turning designs into fully functional websites? Do you “speak” in CSS and HTML more than your native language? If yes, this could be your dream role!

We are looking for a WordPress Web Developer to help implement client website designs, ensuring cutting-edge UX/UI and functionality. You will also maintain and improve existing client websites, ensuring they remain fast, user-friendly, and visually polished.

About Spotlight Branding

  • Convert .PSD and other design documents into fully functional WordPress websites.
  • Maintain client websites: update pages, images, spacing, icons, logos, and other elements.
  • Manage WordPress plugins: updates, troubleshooting, maintenance, and researching new plugins.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve problems and enhance client websites.
  • Ensure all websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Passion for user experience and site usability.
  • Expert knowledge of responsive web frameworks (HTML, CSS).
  • Understanding of scripting languages: JavaScript and PHP.
  • Proven experience with WordPress development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated, creative, and proactive.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Pay: $1,200 – $1,500 USD/month.
  • Fully remote work.
  • Standard hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST.
  • Opportunity to work with a team focused on quality and innovation, not micromanagement.
  • Exposure to real projects with hands-on WordPress development experience.
