Location: Fully Remote (Anywhere, but company is REMOTE – Mexico)
Company: Spotlight Branding
Salary: $1,200 – $1,500 USD per month
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST (4.5 day work week)

About the Role

Spotlight Branding is seeking a passionate WordPress Web Developer to turn designs into fully functional websites and maintain existing client sites. You will help deliver cutting-edge UX/UI experiences for small law and financial firms, focusing on brand-building rather than SEO.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert PSD and other design files into fully functional WordPress websites.
  • Maintain and update existing client websites: adding pages, elements, images, icons, logos, and spacing adjustments.
  • Manage WordPress plugin suite: updates, troubleshooting, and researching new plugins.
  • Collaborate with the team to solve unique programming challenges.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for usability.

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Passion for user experience and site usability.
  • Expert in HTML, CSS, and responsive web frameworks.
  • Understanding of JavaScript and PHP.
  • Proven WordPress development experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented.
