Role Overview

As a Web Developer, you will work on developing cutting-edge functionality for new and existing enterprise web applications, contributing to the operational and technological advancement of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services aligned with business and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team members to ensure consistency in design.
  • Work with team leads to define requirements, scope, and deadlines.
  • Document product and project information clearly.
  • Stay updated on emerging web development trends and technologies.
  • Work closely with depot/yard staff, operations, and accounts teams to ensure smooth system integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of full-stack development experience with:
    • Frontend: React, React Native, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
    • Backend: Laravel, PHP
    • Database management and version control tools (Git, SVN)
    • Web servers (Apache, Nginx)
  • Strong problem-solving skills in operational environments.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and UI/UX principles.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean).
  • Basic understanding of system testing and automated testing practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with OCR frameworks.
  • Initiative, independence, and ability to meet deadlines in collaboration with team members.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of logistics, depot, or accounts workflows (e.g., container gate-in/out, billing, job orders).
  • Ability to communicate in Hindi and/or Arabic for regional collaboration.
  • Willingness to travel or work onsite for depot system rollouts.
  • Interest in software development, automation, and AI to solve complex business problems.

Additional Information

  • Initial work location: Remote from India.
  • Successful candidates may relocate to Dubai or Oman after the probation period (approx. 12 months).
  • Adaptability to the Middle East working environment and coordination with onsite teams is required.
