We are looking for a passionate Web Developer with strong WordPress skills who enjoys building modern, responsive websites and creating custom plugins and themes. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients while exploring emerging technologies and contributing to internal innovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom WordPress sites, themes, and plugins using PHP.
- Translate Figma or Adobe XD designs into responsive, accessible websites.
- Collaborate with UX, design, and content teams to bring ideas to life.
- Troubleshoot layout bugs, plugin conflicts, and performance issues.
- Implement third-party APIs and integrations.
- Apply best practices for performance, security, and SEO.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional experience with custom WordPress development (agency experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Fundamental understanding of object-oriented PHP.
- Experience with MySQL database structures and complex queries.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Ability to create custom WordPress plugins and themes.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
- Keen eye for layout, typography, and responsive design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with WooCommerce and/or custom API integrations.
- Knowledge of REST or OAuth APIs.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience optimizing WordPress sites for performance and SEO.
- Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor or Oxygen.
- Strong JavaScript skills for interactive elements and AJAX requests.
- Familiarity with dependency management tools like Composer or NPM.
- Degree in Web Development, Computer Science, UX/UI, Graphic Design, or related field.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
