🏷 Role Overview

ECS is seeking a self-driven and motivated Web Developer – Journeyman with experience in web application and software development testing. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with DISA Storefront and be capable of leading testing initiatives, ensuring high-quality software releases, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct functional testing for software releases.
  • Develop and oversee overall test plans, test executions, and readiness reviews.
  • Create, supervise, and modify test cases.
  • Communicate with stakeholders regarding testing progress, issues, and results.
  • Conduct user tests, integration tests with TIBI and IDEAS, and regression testing as required.
  • Collaborate with requirements teams and developers to ensure testable requirements.
  • Conduct tests outside normal hours to support customer needs.
  • Provide inputs for testing procedures and documentation.
  • Write, edit, and submit test reports.
  • Attend dry runs for releases and ensure required actions are documented and tracked.
  • Participate in meetings with developers, scrum leads, and customers.
  • Evaluate team progress on tasks within the IMS.
  • Ensure all development tasks are properly connected to testable tasks.

  • Strong leadership and initiative in testing and development.
  • Motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with software development testing.
  • Specific experience with DISA Storefront.
  • Proficiency in Jira and other project tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
