📝 Role Overview

ECS is seeking a self-driven and motivated Web Developer – Journeyman with experience in web application and software development testing, particularly with DISA Storefront. The role involves planning, executing, and managing testing processes for web applications and software releases, ensuring quality, functionality, and stakeholder alignment.

This is a remote role requiring occasional availability outside normal office hours to support customer needs.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and conduct functional testing for releases
  • Develop overall test plans and execute tests
  • Conduct test readiness reviews
  • Create, supervise, and modify test cases
  • Communicate testing progress and results to stakeholders
  • Conduct user tests and integration tests with TIBI and IDEAS as necessary
  • Plan and execute regression testing for infrastructure or minor application changes
  • Collaborate with requirements teams and developers to ensure requirements are testable
  • Provide inputs for testing procedures and deliverables
  • Write, edit, and submit test reports
  • Attend dry runs for releases and document required actions
  • Participate in meetings with developers, scrum leads, and customers
  • Track and evaluate team progress on IMS tasks
  • Ensure all development tasks are connected to testable requirements
