🛠 Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Web Developer Contractor to lead the redesign and redevelopment of our customer-facing Help Center. This role requires hands-on expertise in front-end development, UX, and Zendesk customization.
Key Highlights:

- Direct impact on the customer experience for a large enterprise SaaS platform
🔹 Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end redesign and development of the Help Center.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into a technical and design plan.
- Build a responsive, mobile-friendly interface in the Zendesk platform.
- Integrate with the existing knowledge base platform.
- Ensure scalability and maintainability of the Help Center.
- Optimize site performance, loading times, and SEO.
- Conduct testing and quality assurance to deliver a bug-free experience.
- Document the technical architecture and provide a handover to internal teams.
✅ Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional web development experience.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience customizing and building Zendesk Guide themes.
- Familiarity with Zendesk curlybars and coding structure.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design and visual aesthetics.
- Experience with API integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards.
