🛠 Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer Contractor to lead the redesign and redevelopment of our customer-facing Help Center. This role requires hands-on expertise in front-end development, UX, and Zendesk customization.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end redesign and development of the Help Center.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into a technical and design plan.
  • Build a responsive, mobile-friendly interface in the Zendesk platform.
  • Integrate with the existing knowledge base platform.
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of the Help Center.
  • Optimize site performance, loading times, and SEO.
  • Conduct testing and quality assurance to deliver a bug-free experience.
  • Document the technical architecture and provide a handover to internal teams.

✅ Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional web development experience.
  • Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Experience customizing and building Zendesk Guide themes.
  • Familiarity with Zendesk curlybars and coding structure.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design and visual aesthetics.
  • Experience with API integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
