Web Content Developer

About Your Role
The Technical Support Documentation team is in search of a Web Developer to design, develop and manage the Bluebeam Support site and help us continue to expand the supportability of Bluebeam globally. Our team develops and maintains Bluebeam’s online support website at support.bluebeam.com and the 12 localized versions of the site (all powered by WordPress).
What you’ll do: 
• Play a critical role in site redesigns and re-platforming projects
• Collaborate with designers to further develop and improve the design and functionality of the site.
• Assess UI/UX designs for technical feasibility
• Advise technical writers on the best way to fulfill documentation needs
• Monitor team chat for issues and respond to them
• Edit and publish new articles on the site and assist in expanding it globally
• Help identify areas of improvements in the code base
• Implement updates to responsive websites and emails, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Communicate with, and provide assistance to technical writers, support representatives, engineers, designers, and managers as required
• Set up and manage forms connected to our Salesforce database
• Ensure plugins integrate seamlessly
• Work within existing brand guidelines
• Work closely with the Localization team to help localize pages and support content
What we’d like to see in you:
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Multiple years of front-end experience working on teams designing, building, and debugging websites
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design
• Significant experience with WordPress (basic PHP, managing multi-sites, plugins etc.)
• Experience with WP Engine or similar hosting service
• Experience with search engines
• Curiosity to iterate and improve on solutions
• Motivation to understand the business, our users, their requirements, and to deliver results
• Passion for continued learning and a track record of picking up new technologies and skills
Nice to haves:
• Experience designing with a WordPress page builder plugin (WP Bakery, Visual Composer, Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields, etc.)
• Experience using CSS frameworks (like Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS)
• Salesforce Communities and Salesforce Knowledge experience
• Experience with Salesforce Web-to-Case forms
• Customer service experience
• Documentation experience
• Experience working with localization tools to manage multi-language websites
• Front-end web development certifications
• UX experience or certifications
