About the job:
The Video Editor & Graphic Designer (Freelance) will be responsible for creating engaging visual content for social media platforms. This includes editing short-form videos and designing static creatives that align with the brand’s identity, content strategy, and platform best practices.
Key Responsibilities-
1. Video Editing
– Edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook
– Create quick-cut, trend-based, and informational videos using provided scripts or raw footage
– Add text overlays, captions, transitions, sound effects, and background music where required
– Adapt videos to platform-specific formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5, etc.)
– Ensure videos follow brand tone, color palette, and visual guidelines
– Optimize videos for engagement (hook timing, pacing, on-screen text clarity)
2. Graphic Design (Static & Carousel Creatives)
– Design static posts, carousels, story creatives, and thumbnails for social media
– Maintain consistency in brand colours, typography, and visual style
– Create visually clear layouts for educational, promotional, and engagement posts
– Resize and adapt designs for different platforms when required
– Prepare final creatives in formats ready for publishing
3. Content Collaboration & Execution
– Work closely with content writers and marketers
– Understand content briefs and translate ideas into strong visuals
– Incorporate feedback and make revisions within timelines
– Assist in brainstorming visual ideas for new content formats
