Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver scalable platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and machine learning frameworks aligned with roadmap priorities.
  • Drive full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
  • Apply cloud-native architecture principles to ensure resilient and scalable systems.
  • Build AI-driven applications and integrate machine learning components.
  • Lead system design reviews ensuring quality and architectural alignment.
  • Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex business problems into technical solutions.
  • Continuously improve engineering processes, tools, and products using data-driven practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field with 4 years of experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 6 years of experience in software engineering or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience.
  • Experience implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards.
  • Knowledge of assistive technologies and digital accessibility best practices.

Required Skills

Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.

Strong expertise in Java programming.

Experience building scalable cloud-native applications using microservices and containerization.

Proficiency with Spring Boot framework and API design.

Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with Azure Cosmos DB and PostgreSQL.

System design review and architectural best practices implementation.

Leadership and mentoring capabilities.
