About the Role

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer and Frontend Developer to collaborate with our team on freelance projects. The ideal candidate should be creative, technically skilled, and passionate about building visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive web experiences.

This role requires both design thinking and frontend development skills to transform ideas into functional and engaging interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

UI/UX Design

  • Design intuitive and visually engaging interfaces for websites and web applications
  • Conduct user research to understand user behavior and pain points
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
  • Ensure designs follow brand identity and accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • Continuously improve designs through user testing and feedback

Frontend Development

  • Convert design mockups into functional web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Build responsive and mobile-friendly layouts
  • Develop UI components using React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Write clean, maintainable, and optimized code
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs

Skills & Qualifications

UI/UX Design

  • Strong proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and branding
  • Experience creating responsive and accessible designs
  • Ability to conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback
  • Familiarity with design systems and style guides

Frontend Development

  • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries:
    • React.js
    • Angular
    • Vue.js
  • Knowledge of CSS frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS
  • Experience with Git and version control

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP
  • Basic knowledge of SEO best practices

Additional Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proven experience in UI/UX design and frontend development
  • Portfolio or GitHub projects required
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
