Overview

The UI Frontend Developer is responsible for designing and developing intuitive, high-quality user interfaces for modern web applications. This role combines strong UI/UX design expertise with hands-on front-end development using ReactJS or AngularJS. The ideal candidate is passionate about user-centered design, collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, and stays current with emerging UI/UX trends and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development
  • Strong portfolio showcasing diverse user interfaces and experiences
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools
  • Strong expertise in front-end frameworks, specifically ReactJS or AngularJS
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user interfaces for web applications using ReactJS or AngularJS
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design concepts
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate requirements into user-friendly designs
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively
  • Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, ensuring design consistency and quality
  • Work closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation
  • Analyze user data and feedback to drive design decisions and optimizations
  • Ensure design guidelines and standards are consistently implemented across platforms
