About the Role

We are looking for a Travel Writer & Content Builder to join our remote global team. This role is perfect for someone who loves travel, storytelling, and building content that inspires action.

You’ll craft engaging, original travel content and custom itineraries that resonate with Gen Z travelers, content creators, and wellness retreat audiences. Your work will directly support bookings, enhance traveler experiences, and elevate the TourHero platform.

You’ll also create visually appealing Pre-Departure Packets, helping travelers feel confident and excited before their journey begins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write compelling travel content, itineraries, and destination guides
  • Build customized trip descriptions tailored to different traveler personas
  • Create clear, visually engaging Pre-Departure Packets for booked travelers
  • Collaborate with internal teams, TourHeroes, and operators to ensure content accuracy
  • Maintain brand voice across all written materials
  • Optimize content to drive engagement and bookings
  • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced startup environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Passion for travel, culture, wellness, or community-driven experiences
  • Ability to write engaging, audience-focused content
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Familiarity with Gen Z trends, creators, or social travel is a plus
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
