Job Summary

Amazon’s Network Operations Center (NOC) is the central command for Transportation Execution across Amazon’s global supply chain, ensuring timely and hassle-free freight movement from vendors to fulfillment centers and onward to carrier hubs.

We are seeking a Transportation Specialist fluent in Portuguese to join the Central Operations team, acting as a single point of contact for route planning, scheduling, and payments for LATAM and AMET regions. This role combines tactical problem-solving, data analysis, and process improvement to drive operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate in Portuguese and English with internal stakeholders (Retail, Finance, Fulfillment Centers, Software Support) and external partners (Carriers, Vendors).
  • Resolve customer escalations, proactively drive SOPs, and implement process improvements.
  • Analyze historical data to identify trends and propose scalable solutions.
  • Update and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); train associates and monitor compliance.
  • Support shift execution, including weekends, overnight, and holidays as needed.
  • Conduct regular audits and ensure adherence to operational standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize visibility tools and actionable data reporting.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks with minimal supervision.

Basic Qualifications

  • Fluent in Portuguese (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • B1 or B2 Portuguese language certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SQL.
  • Programming knowledge in Java, C++, Python, or similar languages.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies.
