Schedule: Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays – 4 hours/week (any time between 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM)
Students: 1 (Upper-Intermediate Level)

Job Summary

ICA Language Services is seeking a skilled Telugu Language Instructor to teach a part-time, online class for adult learners. The instructor will focus on proficiency-oriented instruction, developing students’ listening, reading, and speaking skills while providing tailored guidance and assessments.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of full-time experience teaching Telugu to adult students in an intensive learning environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in foreign language, linguistics, language teaching, or a related field.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Telugu.
• Experience teaching via Zoom, MS Teams, WebEx, or other online platforms.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or authorized to work in the U.S.

Essential Duties

• Plan and conduct Telugu instruction using varied teaching methods to enhance listening, reading, and speaking skills.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the individual learning styles and professional needs of the student.
• Administer weekly quizzes and assessments, and conduct formal and informal evaluations to monitor progress.
• Provide monthly written progress reports to the supervisor and collaborate on strategies to address learning gaps.
• Maximize the use of instructional technology and online resources to support independent learning.
