Position Overview:
As a Technical Support Engineer – Tier 1 at USA WINZONS, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance. You will provide critical support for a range of technical issues, diagnose and resolve problems, and escalate more complex issues to higher-level teams when necessary. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
This is a full-time position with remote work, but candidates must be based in the Central Time Zone for alignment with team operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers requiring technical support via phone, email, and chat.
- Provide prompt and accurate technical assistance, helping customers resolve issues effectively.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues related to software, hardware, or network systems.
- Assist customers with setting up software, configuring devices, and other technical inquiries.
- Document all customer interactions and technical issues in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate unresolved issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, services, and technical solutions.
- Contribute to knowledge base articles and other resources to help improve team efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical aptitude with a basic understanding of IT systems and troubleshooting.
- Previous experience in technical support, customer service, or a related role is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose and solve technical issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Proficiency in using support tools, ticketing systems, and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Must be available to work within the Central Time Zone (with flexible hours).
