Your Role

Here’s what you will be doing:
• Identify and design solutions to business problems using machine learning and advanced algorithms
• Own delivery of assigned project components within broader team efforts
• Define measurement and implementation plans to unlock business value
• Translate problems into algorithmic solutions and gain domain expertise
• Collaborate with product and data experts to identify appropriate datasets and build data quality checks
• Develop technical solutions, perform exploratory data analysis, engineer features, build and evaluate models
• Support model fit testing, statistical inference, and assess impact on business outcomes
• Develop, modify, and test code including unit and integration tests to ensure quality deployments
• Create data visualizations and present insights using graphing libraries and BI tools

About You

The company is looking for:
• Current enrollment in a Master’s degree program with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027
• 0-1 years of relevant full-time experience (excluding internships and research roles)
• Ability to work at Walmart Home Office in Bentonville, AR; housing and relocation assistance available for those living outside a 50-mile radius
• Note: Immigration sponsorship is not available for this role

Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly wage range: $21.00 – $40.00, meeting or exceeding minimum wage requirements
