About the Team – Me@Campus

The Me@Campus Core Team builds and maintains centralized platforms that support campus-based associates through integrated mobile and desktop experiences. The team handles:

  • Core services & integrations
  • Infrastructure management
  • Deployment pipelines
  • Observability & telemetry
  • Performance optimization

About the Role

As a Staff Full Stack Engineer, you will:

  • Architect and deliver scalable applications
  • Build seamless mobile and web experiences
  • Mentor engineers and guide technical direction
  • Ensure performance, reliability, accessibility, and scalability

You will work across both frontend and backend systems, contributing to high-impact enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build full stack applications using React Native (mobile & web)
  • Architect scalable backend APIs (REST & GraphQL)
  • Model and optimize NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Couchbase)
  • Lead technical design discussions and conduct code reviews
  • Integrate CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring
  • Partner with product managers and designers for end-to-end delivery
  • Mentor team members and influence engineering strategy

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience
  • Advanced proficiency in React Native (iOS/Android) & React Hooks
  • Strong backend experience (Node.js, REST APIs, GraphQL)
  • Hands-on NoSQL database expertise
  • Experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Proven ability to design scalable, reliable systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Redux or Apollo Client
  • Experience with Cypress & R2 automation frameworks
  • Familiarity with microservices & event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
  • Knowledge of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
  • Performance tuning & monitoring expertise
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
  • Contributions to open-source projects

Compensation

  • Bentonville, AR: $110,000 – $220,000 annually
  • Sunnyvale, CA: $143,000 – $286,000 annually
  • Performance-based bonuses
  • Potential stock awards
