What You Will Be Doing: Hands-on design and develop features for enhancing the security of our Network Security products Collaborate with architects and fellow software engineers to identify the best solutions for security challenges Pay special attention to the Quality & Security in all stages of development Ensure a high degree of security as well as reliability, availability, performance and scalability of the product Maintain existing code and troubleshoot issues in large scale complex environments Collaborate with other teams in the organization Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team membersTake complete ownership of the end to end delivery which also includes Unit Testing, Validation and Automation of the deliverables To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:Core Skills:8+ years of hands-on software Engineering experience targeting Linux/Unix applicationsProficient in C & C++ and good experience in Perl & PythonExpert in Linux system and middleware programmingGood understanding of the Linux Operating System Internals, Linux OS Bring Up, Secure Boot, Bootloader, SELinux.Strong understanding of certificates and cryptographyGood Understanding of Networking Protocols (DHCP, TCP/IP, AAA, RADIUS, LDAP, SNMP, 802.1X, IPSec) a BIG PLUSSignificant plus: experience working on Platform side for Enterprise Networking or Security AppliancesSignificant plus: of Experience working in Networking Security products preferably in SSL-VPN, NAC, WAF or Firewall productsAbility to triage, reproduce, recommend remediations and implement fixes for security vulnerabilities
