Role Overview

As the first full-time engineering hire, you will work directly with the CEO and CTO to design, build, and scale the backend and infrastructure of Luthor’s platform. This is a startup environment with high ownership and direct impact on customers.

Key Responsibilities

Immediate (Days)

• Ship production code from day one.
• Develop backend logic for performance and scalability.
• Design robust data models and manage databases.

Short-term (Weeks)

• Build infrastructure and integrations for LLMs.
• Enable automation workflows for financial compliance.
• Participate in customer calls to refine backend features.

Long-term (Months)

• Own customer outcomes and drive product impact.
• Lead architectural decisions to scale services across geographies and tech stacks.
• Hire and mentor future backend team members.
