Salary Range: $151,200 – $204,600 USD (plus sign-on bonus and RSUs)

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of the global AWS infrastructure. This includes data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems that ensure customers receive highly reliable cloud services.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations professionals working together to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure worldwide.

Role Overview

As a Senior Mechanical Technical Product Manager, you will drive the strategy, development, and deployment of innovative mechanical products used across AWS data centers. This role focuses heavily on advanced liquid cooling technologies, including direct-to-chip and immersion cooling solutions for high-density computing environments.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to translate customer requirements into scalable solutions deployed at AWS global scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for data center mechanical systems.
  • Gather and translate customer and stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept through deployment and optimization.
  • Partner with vendors and manufacturers to deliver innovative cooling solutions.
  • Drive business value through cost optimization, performance improvements, and scalability.
  • Ensure successful deployment of products across global AWS data center environments.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, deploying, or operating rack-level liquid cooling systems (direct-to-chip or immersion).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience working with large-scale data center infrastructure environments.
