Salary Range: $151,200 – $204,600 USD + bonus + RSUs + benefits

Role Overview

AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operations of the global AWS data center footprint. As a Senior Mechanical Technical Product Manager, you will lead product strategy and development for advanced data center cooling technologies, particularly rack-level liquid cooling solutions (direct-to-chip or immersion).

This role combines engineering depth + product leadership, working with internal engineering teams and external vendors to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions across AWS data centers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Development

  • Define product vision, roadmap, and requirements for mechanical infrastructure solutions.
  • Translate customer and business needs into scalable product strategies.
  • Drive innovation in liquid cooling technologies for high-density compute environments (AI/ML workloads).

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with hardware, mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, vendors, and manufacturing partners.
  • Lead product lifecycle from concept through deployment at AWS scale.

Technical Execution

  • Oversee design, deployment, and operational performance of cooling systems.
  • Ensure solutions meet reliability, cost, and efficiency targets.
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (engineering or technical field preferred).
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with:
    • Direct-to-chip liquid cooling
    • Immersion cooling
    • Rack-level cooling technologies in data centers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical product/program management experience.
  • Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with hyperscale data centers or large infrastructure programs.
