Overview

Sr. Frontend Developer/Designer – Remote till the Covid situation.
Location: Woodland Hills, CA (91302)
Duration: 12 Months

The role focuses on overseeing and managing design projects, building and deploying React-based features for online sites, stores, and internal applications, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders, record labels, and business teams to achieve shared goals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of work experience in design and development
  • Hands-on experience building large-scale services and distributed systems
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS
  • Solid understanding of eCommerce and consumer marketing technologies
  • Proficiency in responsive design principles
  • Basic understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data transfer approaches
  • Ability to write unit tests and develop testable code
  • Strong grounding in common design patterns and development best practices
  • Experience with Figma and Adobe XD
  • Experience creating sketches, wireframes, high-fidelity and in-browser mockups
  • Knowledge of page optimization principles
  • Familiarity with modern web trends and UX/UI best practices
  • Experience with CMS platforms
  • Experience with React, Next.js, Gatsby, jQuery
  • NodeJS, JavaScript (ES2019+), ESLint, TypeScript
  • Experience integrating REST and GraphQL web services and third-party libraries
  • Experience with build tools and bundlers such as Gulp, Grunt, Webpack
  • Comfortable working with Linux distributions
  • Experience working in Agile teams
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket

Bonus Skills

  • Test Driven Development
  • 2–3 years of experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage design projects
  • Design, develop, maintain, and update site content, graphics, and appearance
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, performance goals, and troubleshooting efforts
  • Manage client expectations and partner with record labels and business stakeholders
  • Build and deploy React-based features for online sites, stores, and internal applications
  • Integrate with eCommerce, CRM, AdTech, MarTech, and customer service platforms
  • Write technical user stories and convert them into deliverables
  • Provide accurate estimates for stories and tasks
  • Test deliverables against acceptance criteria
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
