About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Senior Data Scientist to lead complex, high-impact analytics initiatives. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to solve business-critical problems using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and data storytelling. You’ll mentor junior team members and help shape the future of data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and deployment of predictive models, classification systems, and recommendation engines
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to frame open-ended business problems into well-defined data science projects
  • Design and execute experiments (A/B tests, uplift modeling, causal inference) and interpret results to drive actionable insights
  • Analyze large, complex datasets using tools such as Python, R, SQL, Spark, or similar
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and executive audiences using compelling storytelling and data visualizations
  • Contribute to data architecture and model monitoring to ensure performance and scalability in production environments
  • Mentor and guide junior data scientists and analysts within the team
  • Stay current with new techniques in ML/AI and apply best practices to real-world problems

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
  • 5–8 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning roles
  • Strong expertise in statistical modeling, supervised and unsupervised learning, and experimental design
  • Proficiency in Python (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy), R, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Plotly, Power BI)
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and large-scale data processing (e.g., Spark, Hadoop)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience deploying models to production environments (MLOps, model monitoring)
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Domain experience in fintech, healthcare, retail, SaaS, or marketplaces
  • Experience with NLP, computer vision, or graph-based models is a plus
