Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Amazon Connect Technical Lead / Senior Developer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based contact center solutions using Amazon Connect and the AWS ecosystem. This role combines hands-on development, technical ownership, and cross-team leadership, supporting scalable, secure, and highly available customer engagement platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

  • Own and drive the technical roadmap for Amazon Connect implementations.
  • Design scalable, secure, and resilient contact center architectures.
  • Lead migrations from legacy contact center platforms (e.g., Genesys, LivePerson) to Amazon Connect.
  • Define standards, patterns, and best practices for voice and contact center solutions.

Development & Integration

  • Build and maintain:
    • Amazon Connect contact flows
    • Amazon Lex bots
    • Intelligent routing strategies
    • Call recording and transcription solutions
  • Integrate Amazon Connect with:
    • Salesforce
    • ServiceNow
    • Custom CRM platforms
  • Develop event-driven backend services using:
    • AWS Lambda (Node.js / Python)
    • EventBridge
    • Kinesis
    • DynamoDB
    • API Gateway
  • Implement GenAI-powered capabilities leveraging:
    • Amazon Bedrock
    • OpenAI
    • LangChain

Operations & Support

  • Provide production support and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, post-mortems, and incident response.
  • Establish and maintain observability using:
    • SLIs and SLOs
    • Dashboards
    • Automated alerts
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance across teams.
  • Collaborate with network and security teams to ensure:
    • QoS standards
    • IAM best practices
    • Regulatory and security compliance
  • Deliver self-service reporting and analytics tools for operational leaders.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
