About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Software Engineer in Quality – I to join the R&D team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation testing, API testing, CI pipelines, and Agile methodologies.

You will work closely with Development, Quality Engineering, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality across build, deployment, and operational support cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, update, and maintain automated test scripts within existing frameworks
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
  • Execute both manual and automated test cases
  • Monitor automated test runs and provide detailed failure analysis reports
  • Design and map test cases from requirements and specifications
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage plans
  • Collaborate in Agile sprint cycles with cross-functional teams
  • Identify and report quality issues proactively
  • Create and execute CI pipeline jobs
  • Support build, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools responsibly for test creation and failure analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in product automation
  • BE / BTech / MCA / Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Hands-on experience in Java, Python, Rest Assured, Selenium/Playwright
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology
  • Experience in test designing, scripting, automation & reporting
  • Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and drive quality across teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Java, JMeter, Postman, SoapUI
  • Desktop Automation tools like Test Stack White or FLA UI
  • Strong knowledge of testing concepts
  • Experience with version control (Git/GitLab)
  • Good quantitative and analytical skills
