About the product

NeverGone pairs a SwiftUI iOS client with Supabase Edge Functions to deliver streaming chat, retrieval augmented responses, and long-term memory.

Responsibilities

– Build and ship SwiftUI features in NeverGoneApp, including chat, auth, and settings flows.

– Implement and maintain Supabase Edge Functions in NeverGoneApp-Backend (chat, embed, summarize).

– Integrate auth, data models, and streaming responses between the iOS client and backend.

– Collaborate on Postgres schemas, migrations, and Supabase configuration.

– Add tests in NeverGoneApp (Testing framework, XCTest) and Deno tests for backend helpers.

– Contribute to the admin dashboard for managing and iterating on prompts.

Minimum Qualifications

– Currently enrolled in a graduate program in CS, SE, EE, or a related field.

– Experience building a frontend UI (SwiftUI, React, or similar).

– Experience with backend APIs in TypeScript/Node/Deno or similar.

– Comfortable with HTTP/JSON, auth flows, and async programming.

– Solid Git and code review fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

– Swift 5.10 and Swift Concurrency experience.

– Supabase or Postgres experience (RLS, migrations).

– Exposure to LLMs, embeddings, or retrieval systems.
