📝 Job Description

We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong software development experience and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed environment.

You will contribute to building and maintaining scalable backend services, troubleshooting issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams. Candidates with experience in healthcare technology environments will be considered a plus.

This role requires someone who is adaptable, technically strong, and comfortable collaborating with both onsite and offshore engineering teams.

• Develop and maintain high-quality software applications
• Design and implement backend services using modern frameworks
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support problem resolution

• Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Java and modern JVM-based frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Experience working with Micronaut or similar frameworks
• Ability to work with distributed engineering teams

• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to team success

➕ Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with Kafka
• Knowledge of Cassandra or MongoDB
• Strong understanding of SQL and database design
• Experience building and consuming APIs

🎓 Preferred Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience working in healthcare technology environments is a plus
• Previous experience in contract or project-based roles is beneficial
