Salary Range: $160,000 – $230,000 + bonus and equity

🔹 Role Overview

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services for the Data Cloud platform. You’ll work closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions and improve engineering practices.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build features or distributed platforms at scale
  • Drive impactful initiatives across globally distributed infrastructure
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Contribute to engineering processes, tooling, and coding standards
  • Ensure reliability, security, and performance of backend systems

🔹 Required Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of industry experience building and supporting large-scale production systems
  • Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, and problem solving
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, or SQL
  • Experience designing end-to-end customer-facing products
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

🔹 Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

  • Familiarity with database internals, data governance, or payment systems
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems

🔹 Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $160,000 – $230,000 (based on experience and location)
