Key Responsibilities

  • Build and run experiments to drive growth of retail products.
  • Design scalable backend systems using modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
  • Solve complex technical problems bridging web-scale applications and blockchain technology.
  • Develop and maintain real-time applications with high frequency and low latency updates.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to convert product and technical vision into quarterly roadmaps.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested production-level code.
  • Contribute to secure, cloud-based infrastructure supporting crypto-forward products.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services.
  • Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience developing secure, scalable backend systems.
  • Ability to translate product and technical requirements into scalable solutions.

Required Skills

  • Backend development and production service maintenance.
  • Scalable system design using cloud technologies.
  • Writing high-quality, well-tested code.
  • Experience with service-oriented architecture.
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with onchain activities such as interacting with Ethereum addresses, ENS, and dApps.

Experience launching products from 0 to 1.

Experience with growth experiments and A/B testing frameworks.

Knowledge of blockchain technologies (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum).

Experience with Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

Experience building fintech, secure, or highly reliable systems.
