Job Title: Software Engineer

Job Description

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software that interfaces directly with hardware. This role involves close collaboration with team members to support the integration between hardware, firmware, and Windows IoT applications using QT.

Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain software that interfaces directly with hardware.
• Collaborate closely with team members to support hardware, firmware, and Windows IoT application integration using QT.
• Participate in full product lifecycle development.
• Utilize multi-threaded programming techniques and debug software using tools like oscilloscopes.
• Work in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Essential Skills
• Proficiency in C++ development.
• Experience with QT for desktop applications.
• Experience interfacing with FPGA.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Real-time programming and multi-threaded programming expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in full product lifecycle development.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport Beach, CA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80.00 – $90.00/hr.
