About the Hiring Group

Our mission is to build a fully automated Content Selection Platform that generates storefronts for Prime Video (PV) customers worldwide. The platform allows teams like IMDb and Live Events to inject content directly into PV storefronts with minimal manual support. We maintain the highest standards of development and operational excellence, continuously monitoring dashboards and proactively improving service resiliency and availability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated storefronts that scale Prime Video’s service globally.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions for content scheduling, carousels, banners, and storefront layouts.
  • Build web-based tools and services using ReactJS and AWS technologies such as Lambdas and Elasticsearch.
  • Ensure high performance and low-latency services while maintaining reliability and scalability.
  • Work in an Agile environment with a focus on test automation and continuous deployment.
  • Analyze system performance and proactively propose improvements to enhance customer experience.
  • Embrace the big picture, creatively solve problems, and make a measurable impact on millions of customers worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, C++, or similar languages.
  • Experience with web development frameworks, preferably ReactJS.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, S3, Elastic Search, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Passion for building innovative solutions and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in video streaming, content delivery, or e-commerce platforms.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, scalable systems, and distributed computing.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Enthusiasm for TV, movies, and customer-centric product development.
