About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn .NET Core Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern web application development using .NET Core, C#, and related Microsoft technologies. Youll collaborate with senior developers, contribute to real projects, and learn the full lifecycle of software development in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of applications using .NET Core, C#, and related frameworks.
• Support in building and integrating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL for backend development.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI components with server-side logic.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Document technical processes and contribute to project reports.
• Learn and apply Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Research and suggest improvements to code quality and development processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of C# and .NET Core framework.
• Understanding of OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) concepts.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework Core, LINQ, and ASP.NET Core MVC or Razor Pages.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React and Angular and web technologies.
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Enthusiasm to learn new tools and technologies.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, Azure, or cloud-based deployments.
• Understanding of unit testing frameworks (like xUnit or NUnit).
• Exposure to API development and authentication (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience in developing or contributing to personal or academic .NET Core projects.
