Design and implement data solutions to support business needs using Java programming language
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading
Monitor data quality and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Optimize and tune data processes for performance and scalability
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data engineering and software development
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management to provide updates and insights on project progress
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality
Continuously improve and streamline data processes to increase efficiency and productivity
Take ownership of data solutions and ensure they are well-documented and maintained
Proactively identify and address potential data-related issues or risks
Act as a mentor to junior team members and assist in their technical growth and development.
