Role Overview
As a Services Delivery Manager (SDM), you will drive new service opportunities, working closely with both customers and internal stakeholders. You will ensure customer applications are well-designed and scalable while acting as a trusted advisor. Success is defined by your ability to develop high-quality service strategies, capture key metrics, identify upsell opportunities, and deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of Snowflake implementation projects, overseeing service delivery quality and client satisfaction.
- Own and manage operational relationships with assigned clients, including relationship roadmaps.
- Manage key client projects, providing status updates, issue resolution, and project documentation.
- Provide input into practice policies, procedures, and standards.
- Integrate industry knowledge to ensure well-rounded software solutions.
- Collaborate with Sales, Services Delivery Practice Teams, Customers, System Integrators, and Technology Vendors.
- Resolve customer-specific project challenges, own escalations, and high-profile situations.
- Work with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products.
- Identify areas for process improvement for both client and Snowflake operations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 7+ years in a Services Delivery role (or similar), managing complex technical implementation projects.
- Proven ability to deliver SD revenue targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and/or Cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with AI/ML model lifecycle, including architecture and trade-offs for Gen AI and ML capabilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for both technical and business audiences, including senior executives.
- Bonus Points: Experience in a client support/advisory technical role (Solution Architect, System Administrator, Technical Account Manager).
